It’s been a busy few months for the Chapeltown Arts Festival planning group but we’re really pleased with the way the programme has come together and will be sharing info about all the exciting events with you very very soon. So many talented local artists are involved this year, as well as lots of fantastic local organisations who are hosting workshops and events throughout the week. We’re really grateful to everyone who is involved this year and hope that everyone is excited about the festival week.
There’s still lots of work to do though! And if you’d like to get involved in the final few weeks leading up to the festival please do get in touch. Details can be found on our contact page.
Here are some of the ways you can help out in the next few weeks –
– We need knitters! We’re wanting to decorate the streets of Chapeltown with an array of colourful knitted squares so if you’ve got a space half an hour, knit us a square and deliver it to Union105, 105 Chapeltown Rd.
– Take a stall at the arts and crafts fair – if you are and artist, creative or maker who has wares to sell, contact us for how to rent a stall at the arts and crafts fair on Norma Hutchinson Park, Sunday 12th July.
– Delivering leaflets and programmes around Chapeltown and Leeds – Soon we will have printed programmes that will need distributing so if you can spare an hour or two we’d appreciate your help.
– Spread the word! – If you use social media help us widen the reach of the festival by sharing/liking posts on facebook and retweeting on twitter.
All the best from the Chapeltown Arts Festival team.
